Practical guide
Before you share a recording.
A clear question and suitable footage help your coach choose a useful moment.
Start with permission
Check the venue's filming rules and the arrangements for everyone in the recording before filming or uploading. The first pilot is for adults. Do not send footage or other players' details through the enquiry form.
Four participants need separate consideration. Team labels A1, A2, B1 and B2 do not establish anyone's identity, recording permission or access rights.
Prepare the recording
- Use a steady, safe camera position that the venue permits. Keep the court and relevant players visible; avoid zooming during play.
- Keep the original file. Note the session and the moment or question you want to discuss.
- Ask us to confirm file, duration and phone-format support before arranging a review. Poor visibility or missing participants may limit what can be discussed.
- Use your agreed private upload route once invited. Never post the private video link in a public chat or this site's automated guide.
Who sees what?
These are separate decisions. Agree them with the organiser and coach before taking part.
| Decision | What needs checking |
|---|---|
| Recording permission | Who appears, venue rules and the agreed use of the footage. |
| Recording access | Which accounts may view or review this particular recording. |
| Pair feedback | The exact approved report and its named recipients. |
| Individual notes | No automatic sharing with partners or opponents. |
Being in a recording does not automatically give someone access to every report. Ask about retention, withdrawing access and any exported copies before confirming the pilot.
Your first session checklist
- Adults, participants and permissions confirmed.
- Coach, scope, price if any and timing agreed.
- Recording support and private upload route checked.
- One question selected and intended report audience confirmed.
